Terms of Service
These terms apply to the Quran Tiles app and the website at qurantiles.app (together, the “Service”), provided byItteba Gilani, an independent developer based in Ontario, Canada (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
1. Using the app
We give you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Quran Tiles on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by theApple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement(“Apple EULA”). Where these terms and the Apple EULA differ, these terms apply to the extent allowed. You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, or use it in a way that breaks the law or harms the Service or other people.
2. Premium subscriptions
- Quran Tiles is free to download. Some features require a Premium subscription, offered monthly or yearly. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- If a free trial is offered, you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests are decided by Apple under its policies and can be made atreportaproblem.apple.com.
- We may change what Premium includes or its price. Price changes will not affect a period you have already paid for.
3. Religious content
Quran Tiles shows Quran text and translations sourced from Quran.com, along with hadith, duas and other Islamic content credited to their original sources. We take care to present this content accurately, but errors can happen. If you find one, please tell us at support@qurantiles.app.
Translations convey meaning and are not a substitute for the Arabic text. General answers in the app are for learning and are not a religious ruling (fatwa). For personal guidance, please consult a qualified scholar.
Prayer times and the Qibla direction are calculated from your location, your chosen method and your device’s sensors. They can be affected by settings, location accuracy and magnetic interference. Please check them against your local mosque, especially for the start of Fajr, Maghrib and fasting times.
4. Your feedback
If you send us ideas, bug reports or other feedback, you allow us to use it to improve the Service without any obligation to you. Please don’t include sensitive personal information in feedback.
5. Intellectual property
The app’s design, code, text written by us, icons and branding belong to us or our licensors. Quran text, translations, images and fonts remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their licences.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep Quran Tiles running well, but we don’t promise that it will always be available, error-free or that every feature will continue. We may update, change or discontinue parts of the Service.
7. Disclaimer
To the extent allowed by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Ontario, unless the consumer laws of the place where you live give you the right to bring a claim there.
10. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any claims relating to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the date at the top of this page, and continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the new terms.
